A former Howard Lake band teacher faces multiple charges after authorities say he had an inappropriate relationship with a student, according to court records.
A criminal complaint states that Andrew Scott Rosevold has been charged with four counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.
According to the complaint, the principal of the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted High School contacted police after a fifteen-year-old student admitted to the principal that she and Rosevold had kissed and had been having conversations on the social media app Snapchat.
The complaint said officers spoke with the teen, who confirmed what the principal had said. Investigators also learned the teen had saved her Snapchat conversations with Rosevold, which were “flirtatious and sexual in nature,” according to the complaint.
