The Maple Plain Fire Department hosts its annual Open House and Steak Fry dinner on Saturday, Oct. 6. The open house runs from 1-4 p.m., followed by the steak fry from 4-7 p.m.
“We host it during Fire Prevention Week; it’s a way to draw attention to fire prevention and allow kids and families to see the work that the firefighters do,” says Chief Justin McCoy. “It’s fun to connect with the community.”
The open house features fire truck rides and demonstrations throughout the day.
