‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ the latest from Blue Water

It’s a busy, transformative time for Blue Water Theatre Company, but things are humming along as usual.

Charlie Leonard, Blue Water’s founder and director, takes a seat in his office as a newly installed air-conditioning system circulates relief from the nearly 90 degrees of July heat waiting outdoors.

Earlier this summer, the youth theater group moved into its new home, a century-old church located across from Wayzata City Hall. The historic building was designed by prominent Minneapolis architect Harry Wild Jones and was most recently home to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Minnetonka before the congregation sold the building to help cover construction costs for a new church across town.
