If you’re planning on mowing the lawn this weekend, you probably won’t. You should get that done, along with any other outdoor activities no later than Friday. The heat is going to be brutal, and dangerous. Saturday we’re looking at a high of 97 degree’s here in the Twin Cities, Sunday’s high is forecast to be 96 with the low Sunday night dipping down to a frigid 80, which is two degree’s warmer than the average high for this time of year. Monday stays hot with a high of 91. Relief looks to be here next Tuesday with a high reaching 83.
Remember folks, stay hydrated and inside in the air conditioning. If you have pets, please bring them indoors in the air conditioning as well, and make sure they have plenty of water. If you have elderly or handicapped neighbors, please check in on them a couple of times to make sure they’re comfortable and cool.
