Weekend heat wave

Warm weather has taken over and stays in place through the weekend.

Humidity is on the rise to combine with temperatures in the 80s to make it feel like summer, just in time for many kiddos to begin summer break.

Saturday has a lot of sunshine along with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. A front moving through in the afternoon brings a slight risk of a few isolated storms, but not everyone gets wet. Many will simply notice a brief increase in clouds. Any storms that do pop up could be strong, so stay tuned and stay safe.

Sunday is fabulous and bright with less humidity for those who aren’t a fan. Temperatures still rise into the low 80s, just without the sticky factor.

Have a great weekend!
