Artaria String Quartet to perform in Wayzata May 7

The Artaria String Quartet invites guests to Wayzata for an intimate afternoon of chamber music 3 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at Wayzata Community Church, 125 Wayzata Blvd. E.

The program, titled “Transfiguration,” will include music by composers Franz Schubert and Arnold Schoenberg, with guest artists Ken Martinson on viola and William Rounds on cello.

The award-winning string quartet, which is considered Minnesota’s foremost teaching and performing string quartet, is known for lively performances that are well integrated with engaging commentary from the quartet members.

This concert is free to attend.
